About The Jonathan Project
The Jonathan Project has as its foundational principle the example given in 1 Samuel 23:16
“Then Jonathan, Saul’s son, arose and went to David in the woods and strengthened his hand in God.” (NKJV)
It was a time in David’s life when everything seemed to be going wrong. His life was being threatened by the King, he had only a handful of friends who he could trust and so he was left to hide in the woods. Depression, anxiety, fear and despair are but a few of the struggles David faced. Providentially it was the king’s own son Jonathan, who was David’s closest friend that came to David and strengthened him.
