Welcome to The Jonathan Project's Website

Most Christians do not realize that the Bible speaks to everyday life in both the good times and bad. It has something to say about all of life, which includes dealing with depression, anxiety, fear, worry, anger, addictions, grief and sickness, as well as problems within relationships.

The Jonathan Project provides confidential, in-depth counseling sessions led by biblically trained counselors. To ensure that your counseling sessions are the most beneficial, couples are seen by Charles and Susan Bennett to bring the male and female perspective to your counseling process. Individuals are assigned to a counselor of the same sex to ensure the dignity of the person is protected at all times.

The Jonathan Project

Imagine running for your very life, not knowing who to turn to or who to trust. Imagine the kind of fear that blinds. Imagine the kind of fear that leads to worry, panic, depression, anger, frustration and even desperation of the soul.

Although this describes a familiar historical event given to us in God’s word about David as he fled from King Saul, it also quite accurately describes the inner struggles of those in the family of God today! If you remember, David had a champion, who happened to be Saul’s own son, Jonathan. I Samuel 23:16 speaks of their relationship, and more importantly Jonathan’s vital role in David’s life.

“And Jonathan, Saul’s son arose and went to David in the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.”

The Jonathan Project's mission is to walk along side others during a time of need, to strengthen our hearts, minds and hands in God.

Focusing on a relationship...

The Bible speaks to every area of our lives, but the Bible isn't simply a recipe book for happiness. Ultimately, the Bible points us to a relationship with a person – Jesus Christ. The Bible was given to point us to him as the one who is able to make all things new. We believe real and lasting change occurs when people know themselves and their problems within a living and vital relationship with Jesus Christ.
